Reggie Brown Writing Club
Encouraging children to read...by inspiring them to write. That's the goal of the Reggie Brown Writing Club, guided by Reggie's own journey as a future author.

Reggie Brown Writing Club – Creative Writing Program for Kids
Reggie Brown has a big dream: she’s going to be an author one day! Now your young readers and writers can follow along on her journey — and start their own — with the Reggie Brown Writing Club, a monthly digital subscription filled with stories, puzzles, and creative writing fun. Best of all? The program boosts reading comprehension and writing confidence.
How the Program Works
During the month of October, kids are invited to create their own Scribble Starter to help them set and plan out a simple goal (like finishing their first short story). In November, during Family Literacy Month and National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo to adult writers), they will be inspired to bring those writing goals to life using the ideas they've collected in their Scribble Starter pages.
Perfect for homeschool, classroom, or after-school programs!
October: Dream & Plan
Before our November writing adventure begins, October is all about getting ready! Children will receive the Scribble Starter, a fun printable that helps them imagine their story idea, choose a writing goal, and make a simple weekly plan. By the end of the month, every child will have set their own writing pledge and be prepared to start strong in November.
November: Write & Create
November is the big moment! Children put their October goals into action using the ideas from their Scribble Starter. Guided by Reggie Brown’s own author journey, they’ll write their first stories in their Scribble Book pages, create characters, and begin learning how to shape a beginning, middle, and end. Teachers and parents can encourage their child to celebrate every word written, reminding them that progress matters more than perfection.
December: Celebrate & Share
December is all about celebrating! Children can choose their favorite piece from their Scribble Book and share it in the Scribble & Shine Spotlight. Families are encouraged to read stories aloud together, highlighting the connection between reading and writing. This month is less about new lessons and more about recognizing effort, building confidence, and honoring each child’s growth as a budding author.
